Virginia St Suite 11 Reno, NV 89502 To register for the June 26th event in Reno, please use this link: Position Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC) Type Full Time and Part Time LOCATION:** Reno, Sparks, and surrounding areas SALARY:** $21.89/hr., paid bi-weekly SPECIAL NOTE:** Current career Postal Service employees are ineligible to apply to this posting. Job Description Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC) deliver and collect packages along routes in rural areas. Provide a variety of services to customers along your assigned route and may be required to provide your own personal vehicle. As an ARC you may opt to provide service to your community on weekends and holidays or up to seven days each week; whichever suits your lifestyle. If you enjoy working outdoors, while keeping your week free, this may be a great fit for you. Minimum Qualifications Two (2) years driving experience. Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum 18 years of age or older for insurance purposes. Successful completion and passing score on Postal Service Test 473. Valid Driver's License; DMV Printout if selected for hire. Position requires great attention to detail. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach. Ability to handle heavy containers of mail weighing up to the allowable maximum mailing weight (70 pounds). Company has strict grooming standards. Company has strict accuracy/honesty standards. Customer service skills required. Able to provide I-9 documentation. Employer conducts pre-employment drug screening and background check.
