We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Escrow Team Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by assisting with the escrow process. This position requires a strong understanding of loan processing, mortgage servicing, and escrow procedures. The Escrow Team Assistant will work closely with clients, lenders, and real estate agents to ensure a smooth transaction from start to finish.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and review of escrow documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate communication between buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the escrow process.
- Manage the collection of necessary documentation related to loan origination and underwriting.
- Process payments and disbursements as per escrow instructions.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with TILA regulations and other applicable laws throughout the escrow process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform basic math calculations related to closing costs, fees, and other financial aspects of transactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in escrow processing or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math skills to accurately handle financial calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using escrow software and other relevant technology is a plus.
