IT Manager, Presidio Production Field Details Job Title: IT Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-site) Reports To: Chief Technology Officer Direct Reports: None (sole in-house IT function; provides oversight and direction to the outsourced IT provider) Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt About Presidio Presidio Production Company (NYSE: FTW) is a Fort Worth-based oil and gas operator focused on acquiring and optimizing producing wells across Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Our technology organization develops software, automation, analytics, and AI solutions that improve operational performance and decision-making. About the Role We're looking for an IT Manager to own corporate IT operations and end-user support for our Fort Worth office and field personnel. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role: you'll be the company's sole in-house IT resource, balancing day-to-day helpdesk and hardware support with vendor contract ownership, IT compliance/audit liaison work, and security governance. You'll work closely with Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations, and serve as the primary point of contact for our technology vendors and external auditors. Key Responsibilities IT Operations & End-User Support Own day-to-day IT operations for the Fort Worth office and field personnel. Manage hardware procurement, deployment, and lifecycle (including replacements and warranty claims). Maintain asset inventory and tracking for all company-owned technology. Coordinate new-hire onboarding and offboarding from an IT/equipment perspective. Support office technology - conference rooms, printers, networking, and peripherals. Provide remote troubleshooting and support coordination for field operations. Serve as primary relationship manager for strategic technology vendors. Lead contract negotiations and renewals, and manage software licensing. Track and manage vendor performance. Own technology purchasing decisions and coordinate related procurement and invoicing. Complete security questionnaires and vendor due diligence. IT Compliance, Risk & Security Governance Act as the primary IT liaison for external audit (Grant Thornton) and compliance initiatives (Protiviti). Collect audit evidence, maintain control documentation, and track remediation items to closure. Coordinate periodic access reviews across company systems. Conduct security reviews for new technology solutions before approval. Govern administrative access across systems and maintain the software approval process. Coordinate cybersecurity efforts, perform risk assessments, and maintain technology standards. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in corporate IT operations or systems administration, including hands-on end-user support and hardware lifecycle management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID. Demonstrated experience managing technology vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and renewal. Experience serving as an IT point of contact for external audits or compliance initiatives (e.g., SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar). Working knowledge of access governance and security review processes for new technology. Comfortable operating as a sole in-house IT resource - able to move between strategic vendor/compliance work and hands-on helpdesk support in the same day. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or similar). Experience at a similarly sized company (under ~150 employees) with a single-person or small IT function.
