About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Data Science and Advanced Analytics to spearhead the strategic and scientific application of advanced analytics and modeling. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading a team that extracts high-value insights from multimodal data, including clinical, translational biomarkers, and real-world data, to enhance trial design and improve the success rate of therapeutic development. This role demands a leader with a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI, who can drive innovation in data science methodologies and ensure the quality and accuracy of analytical results. The Head will also be responsible for data governance, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the data science team. Applicants for the Head of Data Science and Advanced Analytics position at the company should hold an advanced degree in a quantitative field and have a minimum of 10-15 years' experience in advanced analytics, data science, and AI/ML research and development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. The role requires a proven track record in team leadership, technical expertise in data science and AI platform technologies, and a strong business acumen to translate technical insights into actionable business strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at cross-functional collaboration, and have experience in technology and platform development, including data architecture, MLOps, and cloud-based systems.
