Regional Sales Manager

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing distributor with an expanding footprint across the Southeast, for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead field sales efforts across multiple states. This is a high‑visibility role for a driven sales leader who wants ownership over territory strategy, team performance, and revenue growth, with a direct line to senior leadership and real influence over how the region is built out. Day to day, you will split time between coaching account executives in the field, reviewing pipeline and forecast data, and meeting with key clients to strengthen relationships and close larger deals. People who thrive in this role are competitive but collaborative, comfortable holding reps accountable to numbers while also rolling up their sleeves to help win a deal, and energized by frequent travel and face‑to‑face selling rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of sales representatives across an assigned multi-state region Set territory sales targets and monitor performance against quarterly and annual quotas Recruit hire and onboard new sales talent as the region expands Conduct regular field visits and ride‑alongs to coach reps on technique and account strategy Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic clients Analyze regional sales data to identify trends gaps and growth opportunities Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align regional campaigns with client needs Prepare and present forecasts pipeline updates and performance reports to senior leadership Manage regional budget travel and expense planning Resolve escalated customer issues and support complex deal negotiations Requirements Bachelor's degree in business marketing or related field preferred Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a multi‑territory environment Strong coaching and team development skills Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot Excellent negotiation presentation and communication skills Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into action plans Medical dental and vision insurance 401k plan with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Performance based bonus and commission structure Life and disability insurance Professional development and sales training programs Expense reimbursement for travel Employee assistance program Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization
