Innovate processes using advanced technology-driven solutions for impactful results.Job DescriptionOverviewLead fund accounting operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in a hybrid work environment.Collaborate with auditors and service providers to streamline reporting and regulatory processes.Implement robust internal controls to maintain data integrity and industry compliance.Support technology-driven solutions to optimize workflows and improve reporting accuracy.Drive continuous process improvements to elevate operational standards and efficiency.Develop expertise in complex financial structures, contributing to strategic organizational initiatives.Engage in cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.Participate in industry trend analysis to align practices with evolving regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities & DutiesReview and validate monthly NAV packages prepared by third-party administrators for accuracy.Reconcile cash, positions, and activity between administrators and custodians for consistency.Validate portfolio valuations using data from general partners and advisors.Calculate and verify management and incentive fees for funds, ensuring agreement compliance.Prepare and review financial statements for regulatory filings and investor reporting.Manage annual audit processes, liaising effectively with external auditors.Oversee tax deliverables, including investor K-1s and related documentation.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or financial management roles.Preferred 7 years of experience in fund accounting or related positions.Proficiency in SEC reporting standards, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.Experience with internal controls and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for reviewing financial data.Ability to collaborate effectively with external auditors and service providers.Knowledge of fund structures and valuation methodologies is essential.Familiarity with technology-driven solutions for fund management and reporting workflows.
