This is your chance to assist in life-saving procedures while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative healthcare setting.Certified Surgical Technologist Job DescriptionPre-Surgical Preparation: Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes according to procedure requirements.Assisting During Surgery: Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment is maintained.Equipment Management: Operate and maintain surgical instruments, ensuring all equipment functions properly before and during surgeries.Patient Safety & Sterility: Monitor and maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control.Post-Surgical Duties: Assist with post-operative room clean-up and prepare instruments for sterilization and reprocessing.RequirementsEducation: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA or equivalent required.Experience: Previous experience in a surgical or operating room setting is preferred but not required.Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
