As a Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 04:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 04:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 04:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 04:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, storefront perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and completely while maintaining a professional presence for Allied Universal. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
