Construction Project Manager (Atlanta, GA) - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States Position: Project Manager Reports to: Project Executive Location: Greater Atlanta area Pay Range: $105,000 - $135,000 We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates. We also offer financial support for mid- and senior-level candidates who require relocation assistance. Superior is looking for a Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Project Manager is responsible for managing construction projects, scheduling resources, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met, and working closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure the successful progress and completion of the project. This role is based on a jobsite in the greater Atlanta area. Key Responsibilities Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership Create and manage the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete Earn the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed Serve as a key leader to our project team, and provide clear communication and guidance to all team members Understand the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed Review all project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite Ensure the timely completion of all job closeout procedures Your Character Traits You’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail You’re a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization You’re a leader and are effective at motivating and mentoring junior colleagues Your Expertise Required: You have at least 4 years of experience in commercial construction project management or equivalent field management experience Bonus Points: You earned your Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction Management Program certificate, or another related degree Bonus Points: You’re experienced with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M Bonus Points: You have extensive knowledge in construction management software Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Our Benefits Health Insurance : We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible children Dental Plan : We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible children Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, and Life Insurance : We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you 401K Plan : We contribute a portion of your 401K for you Vacation/PTO : You receive a minimum of three weeks of PTO per year Health Savings Account : We contribute at least $750 to your HSA each year Maternity and Parental Leave : New parents receive paid time off Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
