Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a well-established and growing outpatient Psychiatry and Neurology practice in Lower Westchester, NY. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Requirements:

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and mental status exams
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other behavioral health disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific clinical needs
• Provide ongoing medication management, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
• Utilize AI-supported clinical tools to enhance documentation accuracy, workflow efficiency, and patient care delivery
• Collaborate with neurologists, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication adherence
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Support continuity of care through follow-ups and care coordination
• Deliver culturally competent care across a diverse patient population

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Prior experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and treatment planning
• Comfortable leveraging technology and AI-supported tools in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment
