Audit Director - State & Local Government

State Audit Director Job in West Los Angeles, CA
We are currently seeking a skilled Audit Director to join our team at the state government office in West Los Angeles, CA. This position requires strong leadership and analytical skills to oversee the audit process and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of auditors in conducting comprehensive audits of state government agencies
- Develop audit plans and strategies to address potential risks and areas of concern
- Review audit findings and make recommendations for process improvements
- Ensure all audits are conducted in accordance with state laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of state government operations and regulations
