Weekly Margin: $414 - $512


80% MU here!! This is a direct client so just need resume on HCS letterhead, nothing else needed.


Responsibilities

• Room patients, Obtain vitals, Medication reconciliation, Injections/Immunizations, EKGs, Phlebotomy, Lab specimen collection, Assist with minor procedures, Patient education, EMR documentation and providing excellent customer service
• Updates medications, grab current health history
• Will be calling patients to confirm information, scanning, filing, putting together reports
• Admin duties - Confirm appointments, Call no-shows, Phone triage, Scheduling, Complete provider clinical tasks

About the Team

• 9 providers
• 14 Medical Assistants (currently short 2)

Patient Volume
Approximately 14 patients per provider per day.
Visits are intentionally scheduled for 30 minutes because:

• Many patients require translation.
• The organization places a high value on listening to patients rather than rushing appointments.
• Initially, each MA will be assigned to one provider. This may change.

Patient Population

• Rosen employees and their families
• Majority are Spanish-speaking or Creole-speaking
• Because patients (the Rosen employees) work in hospitality, they expect an exceptional experience so customer service expectations are extremely high for these MAs.
• Candidates must be fluent enough to comfortably translate medical terminology between the provider and patient.

Schedule
Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM



Pay - no flex in paying more while on contract.
Based on experience:

• 0-2 years: $17/hr
• 2-3 years: $19/hr
• 3-5 years: $19-21/hr

Requirements

• 2+ years outpatient experience, Primary Care preferred
• Bilingual (writing and speaking)
  • English/Spanish or English/Creole
• Phlebotomy - please put sticks per day on resume
• BLS required
• Non-smoker - this is tested for on the DT so please ask cannies on the front end

Preferred

• MA certification or registation

Cross Training

• Will rotate through:
  • Provider support
  • Laboratory
  • Pharmacy

The goal is to cross-train everyone whenever possible.



Dress Code

• Matching scrubs (any color)
• Slip-resistant shoes
• No Crocs
• Contractor provides their own stethoscope
