Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies to help them accomplish their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to elevate patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and training to patients and their families on therapy practices that can be implemented at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and fine-tune treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients stay on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
