Job Description

 Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments in a fast-paced oncology department. The therapist will work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate, safe, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, operating radiation therapy equipment, verifying treatment plans, maintaining treatment records, and ensuring patient safety throughout the treatment process.

• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience
• Current ARRT Certification
• ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy Certification
• Active California Radiation Therapy License
• Current BLS Certification
• Recent experience using Varian Trilogy is required
• Experience with Varian Aria , Eclipse , MS4 , Teletracker , Patient Select , and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and treatment procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions
• Prepare and position patients accurately for treatment
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Verify treatment parameters and ensure treatment accuracy
• Monitor patients during therapy and provide compassionate care
• Document treatments accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow all radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
