Senior Financial Analyst - Labor Analytics

Kforce's client, a growing organization located in the Saint Louis, MO area, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Labor Analytics to support workforce planning, labor analytics, and business performance initiatives. This on-site role will partner with Finance, Payroll, Operations, and leadership teams to deliver meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve overall business performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze labor expenses, compensation programs, profitability, and operational performance trends
- Identify key business drivers and develop actionable recommendations for leadership
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, and Operations teams to solve complex business challenges
- Develop and enhance KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics
- Reconcile payroll and compensation data to financial results and investigate variances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning activities
- Improve processes and reporting through data-driven insights and continuous improvement initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to business and operational leaders
- Support strategic projects through financial and operational analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, workforce analytics, or related disciplines
- Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business recommendations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Advanced Power BI and Power Query and SQL querying and data analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
