The Talent Acquisition Recruiter plays a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent for Elmington Construction. You will drive our ongoing efforts to source and onboard exceptional candidate, strengthen our employment brand, and foster positive relationships with both candidates and employees. All activities will be performed in support of the values of Elmington Construction. Integrity Precision Growth Driven Relationships KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Experience in sourcing and selecting top talent for a variety of positions. Experience in building deep business acumen and knowledge to apply to sourcing processes to ensure strong and thorough candidate pools, and to expedite the hiring process. Experience in strategic sourcing, talent pipelining, and market research. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to coach, influence, and collaborate with hiring managers and leadership. High-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands. Proficiency in recruiting tools and internet sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS platforms). Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ethical conduct with a strong commitment to confidentiality. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational efficiency. Recruitment metrics literacy, including the ability to track, analyze, and interpret hiring data, and to build and share appropriate reports with business leaders to influence processes. Strong problem-solving skills to address recruitment challenges and improve outcomes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Learn and know the business and apply that acumen to the talent work you do. Serve as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers by consulting on hiring needs, labor market trends, and recruitment strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders to ensure alignment on role requirements and candidate profiles. Manage a requisition portfolio, prioritizing recruiting based on business needs and timelines while also managing high-level corporate openings. Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using direct outreach, job boards, social media, referrals, and networking. Screen and assess candidates for qualifications, cultural alignment, and long-term potential. Lead the interview process, including scheduling, candidate preparation, debriefs, and hiring recommendations. Maintain consistent, transparent communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring lifecycle. Support employment branding initiatives to promote Elmington Construction as an employer of choice. Partner with onboarding and Support teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Utilize the applicant tracking system (Paycor) to maintain accurate records, track metrics, support compliance, drive continuous improvement, and provide data/reports to business leaders. Represent Elmington Construction at job fairs, recruiting events, and industry networking opportunities. Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes and the overall talent acquisition function. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required. 1-4+ years of talent acquisition experience. Experience preferred within the construction industry but not required. Comfortable managing a high req load and filling hard to fill position. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to influence hiring outcomes. Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and applicant tracking systems (Paycor preferred). NICE TO HAVE: Property management recruiting experience (site-level and corporate roles). Experience using Paycor ATS or Paycor HRIS. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently sit, stand, and walk. Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Noise level is typically moderate. Temperature is typically moderate, though occasional exposure to seasonal outdoor conditions may occur. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Travel up to 10% of the time for job fairs.
