As a Pursuit Specialist 1 , you'll lead proposal efforts from kickoff through submission, partnering with engineers, technical leaders, and subject matter experts to develop client-focused, compliant, and visually compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate moderately complex pursuits with normal risk profiles.
• Develop pursuit plan, potentially including strategy, tactics and/or capture plan .
• Lead interdivisional (cross-sector, cross-function) pursuit teams. 
• Direct junior-level Pursuit Coordinators on delegated activities. 
• Attend reviews and discussions such as bid and cost approvals, legal review, cost review, etc., if needed. 
• Participate in department forecasting and budgeting. 
• Ability to navigate and understand the current CRM platform and its functions . Supervise Pursuit Coordinators.
• Submit proposals on client specific portals.
• Lead proposal development activities, including kickoff meetings, schedules, reviews, production, and interview preparation.
• Guide teams in developing win themes, client-focused messaging, and strategic content.
• Create and format proposal documents using Adobe InDesign.
• Coordinate graphic development and contribute simple graphics and visual concepts.
• Research, gather, and develop proposal content, including drafting non-technical sections.
• Manage pursuit schedules, milestones, and compliance requirements.
• Review and edit proposals for clarity, quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Support multiple concurrent proposals while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
• Coordinate interview presentations, resumes, project descriptions, organizational charts, and other proposal materials.
• Facilitate proposal meetings and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive successful outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 4+ years related experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
