Associate Director, Development Quality - OSD

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Director of Development Quality to lead quality assurance strategy for oral pharmaceutical programs. The role encompasses governance, risk management, vendor oversight, and ensuring inspection-ready documentation throughout development phases.

Responsibilities

Own quality strategy, governance processes, and risk management for assigned oral programs
Define readiness milestones and produce program quality plans, trackers, and decision logs
Oversee external vendors and contract manufacturing organizations supporting development activities
Maintain inspection-ready documentation, narratives, and evidence packages for regulatory compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences or engineering
10–12 years of quality assurance experience in development-stage oversight
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and risk-based decision-making
Pharmaceutical or biotech oral product development experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Veeva Vault Quality eQMS platform
Experience managing external development networks and vendor governance

Compensation: $168,737–$198,073 base per year
