Job Description

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of trade marketing professionals.
• Build a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Align team priorities with wider commercial objectives.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to drive business growth.

Trade Marketing Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute the annual U.S. trade marketing strategy.
• Translate brand campaigns into retailer-specific activations across in-store, digital, social, and experiential channels.
• Oversee promotional programmes, sampling initiatives, loyalty campaigns, and merchandising activities.
• Drive an integrated omni-channel approach to increase awareness, conversion, and customer loyalty.

Budget & Commercial Management

• Own and manage the trade marketing budget.
• Allocate investments across promotions, events, media, and merchandising.
• Evaluate programme performance and return on investment.
• Ensure spending aligns with commercial priorities and business goals.

Insights & Growth

• Use data and category insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Track performance against key metrics and recommend improvements.
• Support product launches and go-to-market strategies alongside Innovation and Brand teams.

Retailer & Stakeholder Management

• Represent Trade Marketing in retailer reviews and joint business planning sessions.
• Build strong relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure trade marketing programmes support both brand and commercial objectives.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of trade marketing, channel marketing, or brand marketing experience within beauty, consumer goods, or retail.
• Proven success developing strategies that drive sales growth and brand awareness.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of retail, distributor, and eCommerce channels.
• Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

What's On Offer

• Competitive salary range of $160,000 to $180,000.
