Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay: $22–$30/hour (DOE)

We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join a growing team in Clackamas. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and is looking for long-term stability in a supportive shop environment.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment

• Select appropriate tooling and materials for each job

• Monitor and adjust machines during operation to maintain tight tolerances

• Machine parts to precise specifications and critical dimensions

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

• Identify and resolve issues with prints, including missing dimensions or details

• Complete projects from start to finish with minimal supervision

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 1+ year of experience operating manual machining equipment (lathes preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel

Work Environment:

• Smaller shop setting with a laid-back, team-oriented culture

• Physical, hands-on work in a production environment

• Standard PPE required (work boots, long pants)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
