This contract opportunity involves providing school social work services to a caseload of approximately 40 students between two elementary schools and a preschool classroom, all within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Social Worker is required.
• Demonstrated experience providing direct social work services in school settings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to support diverse student populations.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted social work interventions and strategies to help students overcome academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Work closely with educators, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized plans that promote student well-being and academic success.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and services provided.
• Serve as a vital member of the school community, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere.
• Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to encourage student resilience and address barriers to learning.
