As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Rounds in Burlington, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery partners at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery access procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and maintain a professional presence in a dynamic technology and logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
