As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Tarrytown, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access and badge activities while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entrances, badge activity, and/or visitor movement in accordance with location protocols, helping to support authorized access and a professional environment.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns observed during patrols, and assist with follow-up actions related to security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
