Operations Manager

Movement Search & Delivery

We are conducting a confidential search for an Operations Manager with a company that is a global supplier of advanced technology components to the automotive, aerospace, and defense markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around the Bay City/Saginaw, MI area. This Sr.-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location. Responsibilities Participate as lead staff member responsible for operation and performance of entire operation Lead multi-disciplined plant team in meeting monthly forecasts and appropriate business metric Develop strategic manufacturing direction and planning for 1-3 year planning horizon Direct preparation of operational budgets and coordinates capital plans, appropriation requests, and project follow up Accountable for leading manufacturing, environment, health & safety, engineering, quality, human resources, and finance to achieve business objectives Manage the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process Analyze and implement process flow, inventory and velocity improvements Qualifications 3+ years experience as a Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager Experience with machining Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industries is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
