Business Analyst II

Business Analyst IIThe Business Analyst II provides programmatic, operational, and analytical support in a federal government environment. The position analyzes business processes, operational data, and stakeholder requirements to identify improvements, support informed decision-making, and enhance program efficiency and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business processes, workflows, requirements, and operational data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.Develop reports, dashboards, Excel analyses, presentations, briefings, and other management-support products.Monitor performance metrics, processing timelines, accuracy, workload, and compliance with established procedures.Analyze travel, financial, personnel, procurement, training, and programmatic activities and identify discrepancies or issues requiring action.Gather and document business requirements and support process and workflow improvements.Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, job aids, training materials, and other knowledge-management resources.Coordinate cross-functional activities and serve as a liaison among program, administrative, financial, HR, travel, procurement, and other stakeholders.Support special projects, program initiatives, conferences, onboarding, training, and other operational activities.Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.Provide timely responses to complex stakeholder inquiries and support leadership with ad hoc analysis and decision-making.Maintain data accuracy, documentation, and confidentiality, including appropriate handling of PII.
