Assignment Details
Unit size: 55 beds; typical daily census: ~38

Requirements
- 1+ year of experience preferred; 2 years preferred
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia recognition
- Management of cardiac drips (no titration), heparin/IV insulin protocols
- IV/PICC/central line care, phlebotomy, and peripheral line management
- Non-invasive airway support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC)
- Experience with feeding tube care, chest tube management, and wound care
- Blood product administration and procedural sedation monitoring
- Proficient in Epic charting

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and recognize cardiac dysrhythmias
- Provide post-cardiac catheterization and post-operative care
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies as per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and procedures

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: ~24 hours; modules completed onsite during orientation
- Pre-approved time off: 1 (per contract)
- Scrubs: Any color; no visible logos
