If you are motivated by impact, growth, and purpose, you will find a strong sense of belonging at Quince.THE ROLE The Merchandising Manager, Intimates & Swim role is responsible for delighting Quince’s growing customer base by expanding and managing the Intimates & Swim product assortment on Quince.At Quince, we believe that everyone deserves access to high quality products at radically affordable prices. We believe the marketplace for consumer products is inundated with too many options, and customers find product quality difficult to determine and yet frequently pay more for a variety of things that can be delivered at much lower prices. Our goal is to find the best products in the marketplace and connect the makers of these goods directly to the customers who want them. Quince has proven the consumer value proposition and has built a loyal, repeat consumer base. We want to build on that value proposition and continue to scale in both existing and new product categories. This merchant leading Intimates & Swim will be responsible for managing the assortment, revenue and margins, and overall growth trajectory of that product category.Quince's growth and success is directly tied to the performance and success of this role. The person in this role will be an innovator at heart leveraging the attributes below to build and run our emerging categories strategy.ResponsibilitiesScale these businesses by adding to, refining and improving the Women’s Intimates and Swim assortmentIdentify and execute the right expansion opportunities across Women’s Intimates and Swim to set the businesses up for long term growthWork closely with production development, sourcing and technical design to develop and improve Women’s Intimates and Swim products Partner with planning, site merchandising and marketing to grow these businessesObsess about every aspect of our products (quality, price, etc.) to deliver for the customerHelp drive the business forward to meet sales targets, customer ratings/return rates and improved marginsQualificationsRequired: Role is based in San Francisco California, with 3 days per week in office requirement.5-10 years of retail merchandising experience in the Women’s Intimates category, preferably with luxury expertiseE-commerce experience and/or DTC experience preferredProven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilitiesProduct obsessed with experience in leveraging data tools and external sourcesCritical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the “science” and “art” of retail merchandising)Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancementContinuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challengesExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsMotivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team successBachelor’s Degree, preferredAll posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location.
