Full Time Humble, TX, US Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly About the Role: The Procurement Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and streamlining the purchasing processes to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services that meet organizational standards and budgetary constraints. This position is responsible for coordinating with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders to facilitate efficient procurement cycles and maintain strong vendor relationships. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to track orders, manage contracts, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during procurement activities. The Procurement Coordinator also supports the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Ultimately, this role contributes to the organization’s overall success by ensuring that procurement activities align with strategic goals and deliver value. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.( A plus) At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination. Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Knowledge of contract management and negotiation techniques. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and ethical sourcing practices. Experience working in a cross-functional team environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and track order status. Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and provide timely support. Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases. Assist in resolving procurement-related issues, including discrepancies in orders or invoices. Support the development and enforcement of procurement policies and procedures. Monitor supplier performance and assist in vendor evaluation and selection processes. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance. Skills: The Procurement Coordinator utilizes strong organizational skills daily to manage multiple purchase orders and maintain accurate records, ensuring smooth procurement operations. Effective communication skills are essential for negotiating with suppliers and collaborating with internal teams to meet procurement needs. Analytical skills help in evaluating supplier performance and resolving discrepancies in orders or invoices.
