Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We carry thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. We aim to make fashion more sustainable by giving life to gently used clothes that aren't being worn anymore. We're looking for a full-time Buyer and are willing to train you on everything you need to know.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fashion - including style, trends, and pricing
- Comfortable using appraisal software
- Strategic thinker who can selectively curate store buys to align with the purchasing habits of our primary demographics
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Select and price gently-used styles for our customers
- Merchandise clothing
- Provide customer service
- Work with the store manager to keep the sales floor organized
- Registers and ringing transactions
