Job Duties

• In a timely fashion, organize, prepare, and fill food orders according to company specifications and recipes
• Follow SOPs and standardized recipes in order to consistently prepare quality products; specifically, salads and sandwiches for timely delivery to retail stores and for catering events
• Establish and maintain production pace, by beginning and completing each sandwich and salad with exactness, according to a strict time schedule
• Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with peers and collaborate with team members
• Complete production lists according to company specifications and recipes in a timely manner
• Proficiency in completing production lists according to company specifications and recipes in a timely manner
• Perform closing procedures, including cleaning stations, storing food items to maintain freshness and leaving the department ready for tasks to take place the next shift
• Practice safe operating procedures of all equipment, utensils and machinery
• Utilize safety training in lifting, carrying, hazardous material control, chemical control, first aid and CPR

Qualifications

• Experience with knives in culinary environment
• Flexible schedule; nights and weekends required
• Solid organizational skills
• Ability to communicate as needed with customers, superiors, and peers
• Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
• Ability to move or handle product and supplies
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Open availability to work a part time schedule dependent on business needs
