Rough Carpentry Specialist

Can you turn a set of drawings into a standing structure? Do you keep work square and true under tight timelines? Read on.

Your Impact

• Frame residential and commercial projects from layout to structural completion
• Assemble walls, floors, and roofs; install trusses and supports
• Install subfloors, sheathing, blocking, and temporary protections
• Set concrete forms and support site layout and prep

Daily Expectations

• Decode blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings with precision
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood/metal framing materials accurately
• Verify plumb, level, square; build to applicable codes
• Operate saws, nail guns, hand tools, and other equipment safely
• Collaborate with site supervisors, PMs, and trade partners to stay on schedule
• Maintain an orderly, hazard-free work area and follow OSHA/company safety rules

Bring These Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years in framing or rough carpentry preferred
• Solid knowledge of residential and commercial framing practices
• Proven blueprint reading and accurate measurement skills
• Demonstrated safe operation of construction tools
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• OSHA certification a plus
