Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | 12-hour Day Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 hours biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Function as a float pool RN, rotating across Medical-Surgical Telemetry units, PCU, ICU, and ED to care for med-surg boarders
• Provide direct patient care with a strong focus on telemetry monitoring across multiple unit settings
• Adapt clinical practice to meet the varying acuity levels and patient populations encountered across assigned units
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Strong telemetry skills required due to multi-unit float responsibilities
• EPIC experience required
• Must have been separated from BILH for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with PCU or ICU-level patient care
• Experience caring for ED boarders or higher-acuity med-surg patients
