CNC Machinist I

Title: CNC Machinist I Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Division: NxEdge Department: Production Location: NxEdge - Morgan Hill Job Summary & Job Duties Salary Range: $27.00 - $33.00 DOE Must have the personality and temperament to work as part of a team. The individual will be required to work on a variety of CNC machine tools working on simple parts under the guidance of their supervisor and team members. General Housekeeping including keeping machines and work area, both clean & safe. Responsible for using MES to accurately track production activity. Assist Lead person as needed. Sign off Work order operations and physically move parts to next operation. When possible, operate multiple machines to maximize production hours. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to lift/pull/push up to 35 pounds. Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, and chemicals, with protective equipment provided as needed. Must be able to wear the necessary PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, etc.). Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Overtime and weekends could be required during heavy workload or to meet special customer demand. Flexible to train in other work areas as needed. Preferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and work instructions and check parts at the machine using basic measuring tools. Basic knowledge of machine operation including setting tools and offsets.
