Workday Business Systems Analyst (Finance)
\nLocation: Evanston, IL (Hybrid – Onsite Tue/Wed)
\nFulltime/Direct Hire
\n \nWe’re seeking an experienced Workday Business Systems Analyst (FIN) to support financial reporting, analytics, and operational updates for a mission‑driven organization focused on research, safety, and standards development.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Build and maintain custom Workday Finance reports and dashboards (Report Writer, Report Designer, Prism Analytics). \n
- Translate business requirements into accurate, actionable reporting solutions. \n
- Execute business‑as‑usual Finance updates (Expense Items, Worktags, Ledger Accounts, etc.). \n
- Configure Spend Categories, Cost Centers, and related structures in Workday and Adaptive. \n
- Validate and reconcile data across multiple sources to ensure accuracy. \n
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and leadership stakeholders. \n
- Maintain strong data governance and documentation practices. \n
- Provide end‑user training and support. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5+ years of Workday Finance reporting experience. \n
- Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, FP&A, Fixed Assets. \n
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills. \n
- Experience with requirements gathering and process documentation. \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field. \n
- Adaptive or Prism Analytics experience is a plus. \n
