Director of Operations | Industrial Manufacturing | New England (Relocation Supported) $230,000 to $250,000 base + bonus + relocation A well-established, market-leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a large-scale, complex manufacturing site with significant onsite parts production. This is a transformation mandate, not a caretaker seat. We are looking for a proven operations leader who has taken a complex operation and made it measurably better. The opportunity You will own the performance of an operation carrying roughly $500M in revenue responsibility, with full leadership across production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and the commercial interface. The mandate is to rebuild capability, strengthen the leadership bench, and drive step-change improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. You will have the scope and the mandate to make real change. What we're looking for 15+ years of operations leadership in machining, foundry, metals, or similarly complex manufacturing environments with a heavy mix of parts produced onsite A demonstrated turnaround record: someone who has transformed an underperforming operation, not simply maintained an already high-performing one Proven success leading culture change, rebuilding teams, and creating accountability Deep, hands‑on expertise implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement systems Measurable results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee engagement Executive presence and the ability to influence across operations, supply chain, engineering, quality, and commercial functions Preferred Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related) MBA or advanced business degree Formal leadership development or executive certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
