Level of Experience: Entry Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or GC Holders only) Shift: 6am-4:30pm Position: Manufacturing Assistant Location: Saint Louis, MO Duration: 12 Months Total Hours/week: 40.00 1st Shift: Yes Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Industrial Job Description Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs support activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including validation, production planning, total quality management systems, material management, and manufacturing. Interacts with internal and external customers regarding product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Operates automated office equipment. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves basic issues associated with manufacturing operations. Responsibilities And Duties Performs support activities in a variety of production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs basic support activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including validation, production planning, total quality management systems, material management, and manufacturing. Monitors inventory of raw materials to ensure timely production. Creates requisitions for ordering supplies to maintain appropriate inventory. Maintains and reviews neat, accurate, and complete records and logs. Initiates document revisions when necessary. Follows departmental established procedures. Coordinates with other shifts to maintain sufficient and correct amounts of sterilized equipment and proper condition of work area. Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Follows all client housekeeping and safety policies and procedures. Works overtime as required to meet client business requirements. Qualifications Minimum Education/Experience High School degree required with 1 year of relevant experience. Experience in a regulated environment required. Basic Skills Time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed without delay. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with various teams. Strong prioritization skills. Ability to work independently. Detail-oriented. Organizational skills. Proficient/Working Skills Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmetic. Basic computer skills required.
