Baltimore, MD | On-Site Baltimore, MD | On-Site Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 Base salary + up to 30% bonus potential Our client, a well-known metal fabrication company in Baltimore, MD is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate project bids, cost estimates, and proposals for construction projects. This role works closely with vendors, subcontractors, project managers, and customers to support projects from preconstruction through completion. This position is onsite 5 days/week, but allows for flexibility and flexible schedule. Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing. Coordinate bid documents and maintain estimating records. Develop conceptual budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist with project turnover and change order pricing. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Estimator Qualifications High school diploma or technical degree required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Construction, engineering, estimating, internship, or related experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Proficiency with computers and estimating software.
