Sterile Processing Technician

Travel SPT Sterile ProcessorTravel SPT Sterile Processor jobs in Columbus, OH let you support surgical teams in a high-volume hospital with advanced technology and a fast-paced acute care environment. You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of recent sterile processing technician experience in an acute care hospital, and CRCST (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) or CBSPD certification. Experience in a Level I trauma and teaching hospital is preferred. Proficiency with instrument decontamination, sterilization, high-level disinfection, endoscope reprocessing, and EMR systems such as Epic and Censitrac is valued. Recommended skills include attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work night or day shifts and float to other locations as needed.
