Sr. Firmware Engineer

Salary: $95,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• We need hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• We require experience working with ARM microcontrollers.
• We need strong embedded C/C++ development skills, including bare-metal firmware work.
• We expect a solid understanding of common circuits and electronic troubleshooting methods.
• We need familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar lab instruments.
• We are looking for someone comfortable tackling complex, ambiguous technical challenges.
• We need an understanding of standard software development practices and the ability to collaborate closely with software engineers.
• We expect the ability to manage several projects at the same time.
• We need someone who can develop a broad systems-level view to make long-term maintainable firmware decisions.
• Preferred experience includes Nordic Semiconductor SoCs.
• Python experience is a plus.
• C# experience is a plus.

• We will have you architect and refine a robust firmware tree that supports iterative improvement and long-term maintainability.
• You will make firmware architecture decisions and guide development from prototype through release.
• You will help establish scalable firmware processes as our company grows.
• You will develop low-level firmware in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• You will work on bare-metal firmware development.
• You will use a range of embedded peripherals to achieve precise event timing.
• You will optimize low-level code while balancing performance tradeoffs.
• You will create and maintain firmware documentation in our internal knowledge base.
• You will write firmware for a variety of embedded systems for both internal and external customers.
• You will collaborate with software and product teams to ensure end-to-end product performance and compliance.
