Manager, Database Integration

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Science or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of IT business experience
• Prior experience in database administration, data architecture, or data engineering
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Professional writing skills
• Experience delivering management-level presentations
• Experience developing and managing budgets
• Experience managing vendors
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise platform and services architecture, solution architecture, and enterprise database, middleware, and integration services
• Experience supporting and managing large application, database, and middleware environments with large teams, including on-site and outsourced staff
• Understanding of organizational goals, data privacy practices and laws, human resource management, and project management principles
• Experience developing and supporting applications
• Experience in IT architecture, infrastructure planning and development, and data center or cloud migrations
• Knowledge of database administration, middleware operations, hybrid IT, and cloud solutions
• Coaching, mentoring, and people-engagement experience is highly desirable

• Help shape the direction of the Global Digital Unit and AHM IT, division, and department in collaboration with the Department Manager
• Develop and present strategies, roadmaps, and Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance updates to stakeholders
• Build relationships across global and North American teams to establish trust, address customer needs, and advance IT objectives
• Travel periodically to company and partner sites to strengthen collaboration and alignment
• Develop high-performing teams through teaching, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and regular feedback
• Improve employee engagement, motivate team members, and keep the team focused on its goals
• Deliver approved Enterprise Platform Services Unit project goals within schedule, budget, and quality expectations
• Ensure unit operations meet platform and service availability targets, comply with governance standards, and use appropriate tools to manage risk and performance
• Lead the efficient operation and continuous improvement of database and integration operations
• Oversee operational and analytical database platforms, including data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes, as well as API, service bus, and messaging platforms
• Define and enforce IT and data platform services strategies, standards, policies, procedures, and best practices
• Collaborate with organizational decision-makers to develop and implement cost-effective technology solutions and services
• Represent the unit in meetings and workshops, supporting global initiatives and cross-regional collaboration
• Prepare and deliver presentations on strategy, roadmaps, and QCD performance
