As a Groundskeeper, you'll help keep our property beautiful and inviting for everyone who visits or calls it home. From landscaping and upkeep to assisting with seasonal projects, your work helps ensure our community always looks its best — a place residents are proud to live.Pay is based on experience — most team members in this role earn between $17–$18.61/hr.This role qualifies for the following bonus structure:Monthly Renewal BonusQuarterly Bonus up to $650 – Performance basedHow you will be successfulKeep all areas of the property clean and attractive, including common areas, walkways, hallways, breezeways, and amenitiesMaintain curb appeal by removing litter, pet waste, weeds, cigarette butts, and performing minor landscaping cleanupAssist maintenance technicians to ensure service requests are completed effectively, promptly, and to residents' satisfactionReport any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or maintenance needs to managementAssist with preventative maintenance as neededPerform other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance SupervisorServe as an essential team member by assisting with snow removalSupport management in holding landscaping vendors accountable to contract standardsMaintain positive communication with residents and provide excellent customer serviceKeep work areas organized, clean, and safeEmbrace Mills' Core Values in all areas of responsibility and adhere to company policies and proceduresWhat you needHigh school diploma or GED preferredExperience with groundskeeping preferredAbility to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidaysAbility to work in extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)Valid driver's license preferredAdept at building relationships and working in a team environmentProven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on others' ideas, giving due appreciation, and bringing out the best in othersMills Properties, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.This description is not intended to be, and should not be construed as, an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
