Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms following discharge, including high-touch surfaces, furniture, and medical equipment.
• Replace linens, restock supplies, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Follow infection prevention guidelines and use approved cleaning agents.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Work Environment
The position is based in a hospital where you will be exposed to undesirable fluids and non-infectious waste throughout the workday, as well as bio-hazardous agents and cleaning chemicals. The role involves frequent interactions with patients, visitors, doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators, requiring a good attitude and strong communication skills. The work is fast-paced, requiring standing for approximately 7 hours a day. The schedule is provided two weeks in advance, with shifts from 8am-4:30pm, and may include working every other weekend or more frequently as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
