Senior Benefits Specialist

Job PurposeAs part of the Regional Retirement Operations Team, this position is responsible for data analytics and audit processes of the Retirement Programs. This includes Pension, 401(k), Retiree Medical, Stock Purchase, Non-qualified deferred compensation and the Student Debt Repayment programs. Supports all activity related to SOX, plan audits, plan compliance, funding, and reporting for retirement operations.Key AccountabilitiesApplies knowledge to ensure the necessary controls and procedures are adhered to and performed in the day-to-day administration of the retirement programs so that they are operating in a compliant and efficient mannerAccountable for all timely deliverables of data analytics related to plan audits, SOX controls, file feed audits, labor rate calculationsAccountable for all timely deliverables related to retirement program fundingResponsible for delivery of retirement reporting, including, but not limited to, retirement projections, retirement actuals reporting, and 401(k) participant data level reportingAct as Retirement Operations liaison between vendors and Honda locations to support onsite Financial Education needsQualifications, Experience, and SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field required2+ years of retirement related experience and data management/analyticsAdvanced knowledge of ExcelWorking knowledge of Core HR and Payroll systemsStrong conflict management skills & problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently to resolve issues when identifiedStrong data analytic skillsHonda is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factor.
