We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor US to join our busy and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

General Accountability: Reporting directly to the Plant Manager US, the Production Supervisor US is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations in the assigned assembly department(s) to ensure that safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are consistently met. This role provides direct leadership to production employees, coordinates resources, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality management systems. The Production Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader who develops employees, solves operational challenges, and creates a high-performance team environment focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

To reach the company's quality objectives, the employee must adhere to the job-specific work instructions and procedures as per our ISO9001 requirements. Training is provided to all new hires during orientation.
- Team Objectives: Regularly cooperates with coworkers and others in meeting commitments and accomplishing assigned work on time: i.e., sharing information freely. Fosters productive and cooperative working relationships by showing understanding, courtesy, tact, and politeness to others. Consistently raises concerns in a constructive manner and offers potential solutions.
- Learning and Development Objectives: Identify applicable training and development opportunities to management that align with the strategic direction of the organization as well as the requirements of the position. Attend approved training opportunities as identified by Management. Willing to participate in special projects as identified by Management.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Safety Leadership: Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing company safety policies and safe work practices. Conduct safety talks, participate in incident investigations, and address unsafe conditions and behaviors. Ensure compliance with OSHA/IOSHA requirements and all company health and safety programs. Support onboarding and safety training for new employees.
Production & Operations: Lead and direct daily production activities to meet customer delivery schedules and operational objectives. Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals are achieved. Manage staffing, attendance, scheduling, overtime, and vacation planning to support production requirements. Coordinate with Materials, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure timely availability of components and resources. Monitor production performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed. Review work orders, bills of materials, and production documentation to resolve operational issues and maintain workflow.
Team Leadership & Employee Development: Lead, coach, and develop production employees to maximize engagement, performance, and career growth. Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and address performance concerns when necessary. Develop training plans and skill-building opportunities to enhance workforce capability and flexibility. Foster a collaborative, respectful, and team-oriented work environment built on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Quality & Continuous Improvement: Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and ISO-based procedures. Manage non-conforming products and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Maintain accurate production, quality, training, and performance records. Promote accountability for product quality while reducing scrap, rework, and downtime. Support and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Continuous Improvement projects. Analyze operational performance data and implement improvements that increase productivity, quality, and efficiency. Lead departmental housekeeping and workplace organization efforts while maintaining audit readiness. All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude, must be approachable, humble, and open-minded
- Proven ability to manage production schedules, labor resources, and performance metrics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing multiple priorities
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, preferably in assembly or industrial production environments
- College degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; manufacturing software experience is preferred.
