Position Details

We are seeking a full-time, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is passionate about patient education and advocacy, values teamwork, and demonstrates excellent time management skills.

Schedule:

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive hygiene services
• Educate patients on oral health, home care, and treatment recommendations
• Serve as a patient advocate by addressing concerns and supporting informed decision-making
• Accurately chart clinical findings and maintain complete patient records
• Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to ensure high-quality, efficient care
• Manage appointment times effectively while maintaining a high standard of patient care
• Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to educate and motivate patients
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
