Dental Hygienist Assistant

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist Assistant to work at a facility in Alpharetta, GA. Pay Rate: $29 / hour

Duties: "Job Summary: As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems.
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience: Candidates must have at least Six Months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant Or Dental Hygiene Assistant Or in a Dental Assistant Internship to be considered. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.

Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A

Required Education: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required).

Required Certifications & Licensure: Six (6) hour X-ray training certification. CPR certification.
