Assignment Details

Holiday coverage required.

Requirements

Current state RN license
CPR certification
ACLS certification
NIHSS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Extensive Cardiac experience required
ICU experience required

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
Documents according to standards of care.
Develops and executes a patient plan of care according to individual needs.
Participates in performance improvement activities.
Utilizes clinical expertise to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues appropriately.
