Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week academic medical center assignment requiring ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience. Requirements ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program 2 years of MRI experience as a staff tech required, 3 total travel assignments may substitute Epic charting experience required License required if applicable Must be organized, efficient, and able to multitask Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable working in a high acuity academic medical center environment Responsibilities Assignment within an MRI Neuro clinic at an academic medical center Performs Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI studies Monday-Friday schedule, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week Day shift options of 6:30AM-3PM or 8:30AM-5PM, or Evening shift 2PM-10:30PM No rotation required between Day and Evening shifts No call, no overnights, no holiday coverage required Uses Epic for charting Produces high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards Requires competence with a variety of MRI equipment and technology Practices safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients Fosters teamwork through effective communication Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from initial start date, followed by a required break before starting a new assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-752984 Open Positions: 5 #J-18808-Ljbffr
