Project Management Specialist – Installation Leadership As a Project Management Specialist you will be accountable for project delivery, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction by efficiently managing project‑related activities and resources. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the installation, commissioning, and startup of Baker Hughes‑supplied equipment at customer sites and coordinate other contracted scope activities, ensuring collaboration with engineering, quality and supply chain functions. Responsibilities Lead the assigned project team and coordinate with supporting functions to guarantee seamless execution in accordance with contractual obligations. Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders, providing guidance to identify opportunities amid challenges and unforeseen changes. Ensure project financial performance, timely completion, and exceptional quality consistently meet and exceed targets. Manage and resolve all project‑related issues, including status reporting, risk mitigation strategies and project closure procedures. Coordinate all efforts to ensure successful project closure and seamless transition to the operating team as defined by the contract. Facilitate the development of execution models suited to varying project sizes and scales by applying insights from lessons learned and advocate for implementation throughout every phase. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably for large EPC companies. Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English and capable of executive‑level presentations. Strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven behavioral, influencing and leadership competencies. Proficiency in managing project financials, including revenue, contribution margin and cash flow. In‑depth knowledge of T&Cs glossary and dynamics, including contractual provisions, risks, claims and remedies management. Background in gas turbines, steam turbines, compressor technologies and energy‑transition technologies such as hydrogen, carbon capture, geothermal and energy storage. Willingness to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations. Working Conditions Ready to spend up to 35% of working time travelling on jobs as required by business.
