Lead MEP coordination efforts for large-scale commercial multi-family residential developments ranging from 200 to 800+ units, including podium, wrap, mixed-use, and high-rise projects valued up to $300M. Key Responsibilities Managed full-cycle MEP coordination from design development through commissioning and owner turnover. Led weekly GC MEP coordination meetings with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, architectural, and low-voltage trades. Directed BIM/VDC coordination process utilizing Navisworks and Revit for clash detection and resolution. Reviewed and approved MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, BIM models, RFIs, and submittals for constructability and code compliance. Coordinated routing of: Hydronic piping Coordinate MEP models ensuring field installation accuracy and schedule adherence. Oversaw sleeve, embed, penetration, and equipment pad coordination with structural and concrete trades prior to pours. Underground installation Rough-in Final trim Startup and commissioning Identified field deficiencies and managed corrective action tracking through closeout. Coordinated TAB activities, equipment startup, controls integration, and commissioning procedures. Managed MEP punch lists and ensured timely turnover documentation including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings. Collaborated with superintendents and project managers to mitigate schedule impacts and resolve field conflicts proactively. Reduced MEP clashes by over 85% prior to field installation through proactive BIM coordination. Achieved successful first-pass inspections on multiple AHJ rough-in and final inspections. Accelerated turnover schedule by implementing phased QA/QC inspection workflows.
